Good Email Attempts Gotcha, Constituents Learn They Prefer McGuire!
However you cut it, McGuire out-raised the incumbent in about 30 days. OPINION
When I look for other topics, I get another email from Bob Good doing his gaslighting/distraction thing again. Bob keeps providing material.
Bob has nothing to tell anyone about himself, so he constantly points to others.
‘Look over there!’
Remember when he wanted you to look away from Trump by endorsing Ron DeSantis days before DeSantis announced? And how he made as big a show of it as possible by announcing his endorsement on the day Trump was indicted by the monstrous lawfaring Left? He flipped again to shift attention from that fiasco when DeSantis’ campaign fizzled out and endorsed Trump! Never Trumper Bob fleed from Never Back Down!
He wanted you to look at Speaker McCarthy rather than his record, and the consequences of that myopic disaster left the Republican Caucus with a razor-thin margin that may vanish with changing district lines. He pointed away from himself again by slobbering over McCarthy’s replacement, Mike Johnson of Louisiana. He pointed again when Johnson made a budget deal he didn’t attempt to work out and called to have him vacated! Now he is back on his one-hit-wonder… That John McGuire is a big liar!
Bob ‘No-Bills’ Good sings that seven words for eleven verses, but who is the real liar? You guessed it, it’s Bob. Bob is a man of the wind; he sticks that finger in the air at every opportunity with only one motive- how can I keep this plush job? When Bob isn’t backstabbin’ to keep the job, he is gaslighting John McGuire. McGuire decided to challenge Bob “No-Bills” Good based on the constituents' complaints that Bob treats them poorly. There are numerous stories circulating to support these allegations, and I will post them soon. In my opinion, Bob’s deflections are all about compensating for the lack of skill in Congress. He has no bills. He said he could do the job, but it was a lie. He can’t work with his peers on the Hill; they do not support him, and we suffer as a result. He makes $174k we get zip. He was 4th from the bottom in attendance among Congressional freshmen because he spent all his time working the local Committee units to seat allies and manufacture a political machine like something out of Louisiana or Chicago.
The latest yarn Bob is spinning is ‘calling out’ McGuire for claiming he raised more money than he did. Is that it? Really? At least McGuire has gotten bills passed and, therefore, did not lie when he said he could do his job. Anyone in politics can tell you that people pledge money to support campaigns, but that money doesn’t always appear before reporting deadlines. Bob knows that his consultants know that, but Bob thinks he has got something here because he thinks you don’t know that:
In November, only a week after being elected to the State Senate and two months before being sworn into that office for the first time, John McGuire announced he would challenge me for the Republican nomination -- breaking his word to the people of his Senate District.Just days later, McGuire declared that "in just 48 hours," he had raised $250,000 for the primary to run against me, touting his supposed momentum and enthusiastic support. The problem for my opponent is that his federal financial report, that was just released yesterday, not only shows that he didn't raise $250,000 in 48 hours, it shows that he didn't even raise that amount in the entire fourth quarter (Oct-Dec). ~Bob Good’s email.
Bob is not very bright; he can not get bills passed or play the long game. He flip-flops constantly (see above) and will turn on you if he believes it helps his career, which is why other congressmen and women avoid him. Bob thinks it’s a gotcha that McGuire spoke to the total of contributions pledged, which differs from contributions received by the deadline! Bob spent money to tell you his opponent outraised him, an incumbent, in about 30 days of actual fundraising, less the weekends and holidays! In other words, he admits to his constituents they believe John is better than Good! Good raised $204,983.32 while McGuire raised $212,421.86. That’s a gotcha, alright!
After making a show of endorsing Desantis on the day of Trump’s indictment- a message to MAGA that your candidate is going to jail, he flipped back to Trump after the Trump campaign indicated they were coming after him. Did Bob have a change of heart, or as he confessed on CNN, he said “one thing in public and another privately?” Here is flip-flop Bob doing another beatdown on Donald Trump just 24 hours after changing sides and asserting he is a loyal MAGA man! Bob lies constantly and for his own sake, not yours, and he proves this here, just like on CNN:
Bob also sent texts claiming McGuire is taking money from former Speaker McCarthy’s PAC. This particular whopper is easily fact-checked. If such money were donated, there would be a paper trail. So where is the paper trail, Bob? Show it to us. You must have proof; otherwise, why would you make such a statement? You know what McCarthy PAC money looks like- you took $2,500,00.00 from McCarthy’s PAC when it suited you.
Bob is gaslighting McGuire and gaming you- he takes your money and $2.5 million of McCarthy’s money and hires the consultant class to tell him how to lie because he isn’t bright enough to do it on his own. Look what happens when he goes off-leash on cable with a CNN reporter or when he is in Lynchburg telling people in what he thinks is a private meeting what he thinks… at least for the moment.
Listen to Bob claim McGuire edited the tape that a reporter made of him contradicting himself- that he never bashes Trump. Watch his shifty eyes; they certainly look deceptive to me. Bob makes these claims about McGuire but never offers any evidence, yet he has been repeatedly caught red-handed being deceptive. If you are gonna be a liar, at least be a good liar. Wait… Good isn’t a good liar!
Bob isn’t bright and is in trouble. Bob is making mistakes and showing people who he is. If Bob blows a ‘gotcha’ campaign letter about his opponent's minor campaign fundraising misstatement while making himself look the obvious loser in the process, can you believe Bob understands how DC works? Do you think others in Congress haven’t noticed Bob is a little slow?
Let’s recap:
Bob wanted to vacate Trump and MAGA because he thought DeSantis had coattails. Bob vacated McCarthy because it was a distraction from his ineptness. Bob wants to vacate Johnson after proclaiming Johnson the best possible replacement because Bob needs to appear relevant. Bob vacated his DeSantis endorsement because he fears Trump. Bob wants to vacate the upcoming primary with a convention his paid political hacks can manipulate. Bob likes to gaslight, distract, and vacate others because Bob is looking out for number one (it ain’t you). Bob has a pattern- he vacates the truth at every self-serving opportunity.
Bob constantly presumes upon faith, claiming to be Christian, but regularly defers to the author of lies for what to do, violating a central tenet of Christianity contained in the Decalogue: Thou Shalt Not Lie. If Bob regularly contradicts his core belief system, how can you trust him when he says he will represent you?
Isn’t it time to vacate all the liars from our Party?

Bob Good Challenges Anyone To Find Him Criticizing Trump And Gets Nailed.
A follow-up to last night’s post. Bob opens mouth and inserts foot. Not only is Bob not very well-liked on the Hill, but he isn’t very bright, which is likely the root cause of his unpopularity. Bob is a backst…
